Company profile websites are often built once and then left alone. The content is complete and the design is tidy, but nobody gets in touch. Usually the problem is not the design, but that the site was not built to help visitors make a decision. Use this checklist to review your website.
First impression
- Within five seconds, do visitors understand what you offer and who it is for?
- Is there one clear main call to action at the top of the page, such as "Free consultation" or "See our work"?
- Does the site load quickly on a phone with an ordinary connection?
Trust
- There are real examples of work or case studies, not just a list of services.
- There are client logos or testimonials, used with permission.
- Your address, phone number, and email are easy to find, ideally on every page.
- The About page explains who is behind the business and how you work.
Easy to contact
- A short contact form that only asks for what you really need.
- A WhatsApp button for visitors who prefer to chat.
- After submitting the form, visitors get a clear confirmation.
- Notifications reach your email or dashboard, so no enquiry is missed.
Found on Google
- Every page has a unique title and description.
- There is a sitemap, and the site is registered in Google Search Console.
- Images have alternative text and are optimised in size.
- There is content that answers prospects' questions, such as articles or FAQs.
Maintenance
- Content can be updated without calling a developer.
- Data is backed up regularly.
- Information on the site, especially prices, services, and contact details, is rechecked every few months.
Start with what matters most
You do not need to fix everything at once. Start with the three things most often missed: a clear call to action, easy-to-find contact details, and proof of real work. Those usually have the fastest impact on enquiries.
